Goodness! Why are shipping costs so high? Perishable food items are being shipped to you. If you are located outside our 2-day shipping area via UPS Ground, it is necessary to send your package UPS 2-Day service. Ice packs and insulated boxes add to the total shipping weight. Our primary goal is to protect your shipment so you can enjoy it.

To maintain the cool temperature our bratwurst demand, as well as keep shipping costs reasonable, we select the best shipping container for your order. Your bratwurst will arrive in one of three shipping container combinations:

1) For smaller orders (usually 12 brats or less) your bratwurst will be packed with a min. of 2 ice packs tucked inside a small box which is then nestled in our special low-temp insulation which lines a larger cardboard box.

2) For medium size orders (usually 18-24 brats) your bratwurst will be packed with a min. of 2 ice packs plus bubble wrap then tucked inside our special low-temp insulation which lines a larger cardboard box.

3) For larger orders (usually 2 doz. brats or more) your bratwurst will be packed with a min. of 2 ice packs plus bubble wrap tucked inside a small cardboard box which is then nestled in a reusable styrofoam cooler sitting in a larger cardboard box.

Shipping and handling charges are additional to product prices.  Shipping is available only within the continental United States. All orders will be shipped out Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.  Any orders placed after 9:00 am (Central Standard Time) on Wednesday will be shipped out the following week.

All orders for Brats will be shipped 2-Day UPS (or Overnight, if requested).  If you do not choose at least 2-Day Shipping when checking out, your order will be automatically adjusted to meet this criteria.
